Boston Pizza

Station Square, 6200 McKay Ave #135, Burnaby, BC V5H 4L7

Fun staff, good food, well lit, with a humming atmosphere. Staff were super helpful in accommodating our large group.

EB Games

Orchard Park Shopping Centre, 2271 Harvey Ave Unit 0600, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6H2

When it comes to customer service, you’ve found THE STORE. These guys are nerds, passionate, friendly and know their shit. It’s just too bad that EB has started charging almost full price for used games. Where once a trusted source for used games, they’ve fallen from my radar, as you can’t be charging almost full price for an older version of a game! Might as well just use the Steam platform.

PetSmart

2024 Harvey Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8J8

Worst customer service and shitty selection. Mice labeled ‘small’ in pack of six are actually mediums, and the individually packaged (which are ACTUALLY small) are priced for 30 cents more. When I went to check out my one item, I stood at the check out while an employee checked out on of their friends, taking their time and even walking away from the till. Finally I moved to another till, where I proceeded to see another till being opened as the slow poke at the front was still dawdling with his friend. Not impressed.

Tim Hortons

261 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6N2

Regardless of the rude comments of homeless people hanging out in here (Apparently most of these people are kinder then you!) this location is clean, yet somehow they cannot get orders right. My colleagues and I will be removing our business, and will be warning others if this doesn’t improve, as charging people for items they didn’t order, or not giving them something as simple as a bun in their chili means attention to detail is lacking, and makes other areas such as health and safety come into question.

Mark’s

500 1500 Banks Road, Kelowna Central Park Power Cntre Phase 1, Kelowna, BC V1X 7Y1

Have been going to this store since opening day, and have always been satisfied with what they have to offer, as their prices are reasonable, and their material and handiwork isn’t a cheap knock off, and appeals to both sexes. While their selection of tough wear is large, such as cargo pants and waterproof boots, they also now include an entire section of comfy things, both for men and women! On a side note, this store has ridiculous left and right entry doors, with the counter directly in the front middle of the store. My last visit, they had finally been moved to a more logical location, allowing one to walk directly into the store. Thumbs up!

The Home Depot

2515 Enterprise Way, Kelowna, BC V1X 6C1

Refuse to buy any large appliance or item that will be subcontracted through this company. Once appliance is ordered and sent to you, they wash their hands of any responsibility. My friend ordered a washing machine and when it arrived, most of the parts were missing, making this piece unusable. Frustrated, she called Home Depot to request that a proper one be sent out, to which they said they would send a repair kit?! After much fighting and being pushed off to their delivery company, she was told 6 days was the best they could do – She has two small children and the laundry pile is climbing, and it is still another 6 days without a washing machine.
