Back in March of 2020, I hit a slick patch in a freak snow storm in Winfield, causing my car to continue going straight around a turn, which brought a sideswipe collision into my life, leaving a nasty dent in the side of my beautiful baby!!!

While I knew it would be covered under a claim, I searched around for a body shop which could complete my ICBC Claim for a reasonable price, the shop I brought it to in Kelowna and those I called around to in the valley wanted to use only new parts, however, when I spoke to Roy, he immediately suggested he’d be on the lookout for used – like new – parts to repair the banged up side!! He brought the costs down by at least $2000’s! There were also a few paint chips in the front he fixed as he went!!

Not only that, Roy is a lovely person to deal with, having an amazing sense of humor and great stories! And ON TOP of it all, he completely cleaned & detailed every inch of my car and removed every speck of sawdust, dirt & other grime from my car, leaving me with a brand new looking & feeling car! I couldn’t be more happier with this lovely man and his incredible service!!!

Much love, and as much as I hope I don’t ever have to go back there, I know where to go and where to send all my friends 🙂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Brought my car in for new tires, they gave me a great deal on 4 Firestones and a wheel alignment! Just be prepared to spend more time then their estimated wait time, as they are a very popular shop and they are quick to help when emergencies arrive. Reahd & Joe are AWESOME!

Okanagan Smiles

Was having major troubles with my teeth for the first time in my life, other then only having three wisdom teeth and needing one removed to even out my mouth. Having been born lucky with an almost perfect jaw. I take great pride trying to maintain this bite, but, I couldn’t get my hands into my mouth to floss, and the water pick wasn’t cutting it. I lamented about this at work, as I had just seen my dentist and somehow, I was getting cavities in places I knew I was flossing. She suggested this place, and though nervous to try someone else, within a month, this team had my mouth on the road to recovery, as they had removed tartar buildup under the gums which relieved tension in my face muscles. A truly incredible experience, I recommend this place for SMILES 100%!!!!

2020 Exploration Updates – Now InstaScenes

As I step into this new year, I feel my effort can be better spent by using InstaGram’s built in features of Stories. Starting today, you’ll start seeing updates of where I’m at and what I’m doing, a quicker way of keeping you in the know, and an easier way for me to keep track of where I’ve been!

Any helpful feedback is greatly appreciated as I embark on this new adventure, one that has encouraged me to get out more and show off my beautiful town, and hopefully, maybe someday, the world!

Having been in this town for many years, I’ve watched this mall swallow up the space Wal-Mart Left, putting in a food court, and later a Sport Chek, Timmies, EB Games & Best Buy, and now expanding once again. They really concern themselves with making it into a hub for people to chill, relax, and do some therapy shopping!! There are also seasonal shops which pop up in the middle of the other shops, check them out during the holidays for favorites such as the Log Barn!

It’s always fairly clean for the amount of traffic that goes through. This location also makes an excellent place to have a wind friendly walk in the early hours, (as later hours do get crowded) for those who don’t wish to be stuck to a treadmill.

Excited to see what you guys have in store!

HI I’m Raven, I just got back from Random Acts of Costuming, where we cheered up some kids and some people, I put on my best smile, and now without any further ado, here is SarahTonin’s Exploration Update for the Month of September. Teen Titans GO!

Shout out to Random Acts of Costuming, check them out on Facebook and follow them there, more on that next month.

Didn’t go many places, but we did make some delicious shish kabobs and had a corn feast, which if you see there, I’ve taken two slices of tomato and slathered them on the corn. (This to be done after normal condiments applied, butter, salt and pepper) That’s how you do it RIGHT!

Saw this spectacular sunrise, peeking out from behind a fire hydrant.

Snapped a few shots of this excellent sunset on the way back from Vernon

Went camping, made some camp food! Yes, Omelets ARE camp food.

And there’s some power lines…

Have a great week guys and hopefully I’ll  explore way more things this month however as the winter months set in, I tend to bunker down and hibernate…and wait for the cold to go away! So you may see me venture out, once in a while, but expect to see more updates in regards to Tutorials, and other such likes! Stay Tuned!

June to August Exploration Update

Subcity Donair

1905 Baron Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X 6A3

When this shop started up years ago, this was the second one in Kelowna, run by the same people who started the first one a few years prior to that. My mom was right there to show her support, as she’s a Maritimer and missed her Donairs! To be sure that they were perfect, she shared the special ‘sweet sauce’ recipe, a sauce that makes these Donairs an amazing experience to this day! This place holds a special place in my heart, as many mother daughter dates have always been held here.
