Having grown up with a French-Canadian mother who made a KILLER poutine, these are not poutines. These are other dishes smashed on top of potatoes and cheese. Even the original, though tasty, I find to be a heavy grease pod after the third bite, and by that time, a knot forming in my stomach. Everyone needs their greasy food fix, and some of these combinations would actually taste good, if prepared correctly! But when you mash too many flavors together, you get a sickening pile of grease and mushed potato, as they don’t cook their fries long enough for the dishes they create. Techniques really need refining if this is to flourish. I’d save your money, and go down the street to Jeffer’s Fryzz 😉
