Fact: Actually, lightning can, and often does, strike the same place repeatedly — especially if it’s a tall and isolated object. For example, the Empire State Building is hit about 25 times per year…

OK OK, so we know isolated objects can, but did you know that so can humans? OR….at least it was the case with this poor fella!

Roy Sullivan was stuck 7 times by lightening over the course of his life, and his wife was hit once while standing near him! His idea on to why was it had to be some type of chemical the lightening was attracted to, but I still haven’t found anything in the scientific community as to why this would happen to someone…
