When I first met the RAOC group at the Kelowna Fan Expo (ie KFX), I never expected I’d become a part of something so wonderful! However, as I got to know them, I found out that Cap and his dad Mr. Incredible always had a goal in mind – to spread random happiness, hope and cheer to those in need. So I answered the call and joined his band of mismatched heroes, villains, puppets and princesses, our troupe ever growing!
One of the most memorable occasions for me was our walk through the mall for last year’s Halloween (2019) with Ursula and Batman, spreading smiles and holiday cheer!
As we were heading out, we picked up Spiderman, who became ever faithful in our efforts to ensure our mission was achieved.
Our continued visits caught the attention of Castanet, which interviewed us on our second to last visit before COVID hit.
This group has touched my life and I know many many others, and I do hope sometime in the near future we can meet again to spread love, cheer and hope to those in need.
